Just as Dissociate Now lays out the impetus and reasoning for dissociating from the fossil fuel industry, the Respect Report poses why and how Brown must also begin to address issues of local environmental injustice. It serves as a historical collection, a starting point for future advocacy work, and a framework through which to view the institution’s role in the city it occupies.

We intend for this to be a living document, updated and built upon by future iterations of Sunrise Brown on a regular basis. As we continue to engage in local issues of environmental injustice, let it act as a repository of institutional knowledge that contextualizes our mission, educates our members, and lays the foundations for more-targeted future campaigns.”
